— If only time and hours could be turned back, I wouldn't return to the present. It feels like I was happier in the past, like I had nothing to worry about except for wasting time being happy because the days seemed endless back then. During my Grade 10 days, I was so happy, it's like I enjoyed my freedom as an individual more. I appreciate those times more now than ever, because I know I can never bring them back again. But I am deeply grateful for the people who were with me and made me feel alive during that time, even though it was tough, I just kept going because there was nothing to lose if I tried.

_____________________________________________— But I think my love for them surpasses everything else, I'm a very loving person, I'll never hold everything I've done against them, I did it willingly, and I won't demand anything in return for all I've done. I hope all of that can be brought back; I hope I can go back. But well, maybe memories will just have to suffice because I don't have the power, but these days, I wish I could be with them again. We've become too busy entering senior high school life, but I can't blame them because, well, we're moving towards a life where it's just us; We're only with ourselves now.

_____________________________________________— I have learned a lot from my past, I applied many lessons and advice up to now, there were many processes. I don't know how, by what means, and how I got here. Many times I gave up, but because of my loved ones, it's like it's hard to leave and forget all of that. I will cherish and take care of all of that because my past is the best thing that happened in my life. I just want to go back, I just want to experience all of that again. I am happy now, but it's different when you're with the ones you truly considered as family, even if those who truly guide you are not there.

_____________________________________________— They may not be blood relatives or any type of relationship, but you can say you wish they were there; You wish they were there for a lifetime... I don't know, I grew up in a family where I didn't experience what my friends made me feel, that's why I made the most out of what happened back then. I wish they were here with me facing my life now, I wish they were here.. for me to lean on, but I have to accept it because not everyone will stay by our side, they will only come to make you feel loved but we can't force them to stay.

DeleteAfter I read this, I miss my grade 10 classmates because they're special for me and they are my happy pill, I want them to stay with me but it was all about our chapter. Someone leaves and someone replaces.

ReplyDeleteEverything about this post is such nostalgia for me because, when I was a 7th grader, I had the best friends ever. Although everyone grew up as we all did and interests changed, nothing could change that maybe someday we get to reunite, but who knows? I wish I could go back to the old days and fix everything up. Your post is touchy, and that's what I like about it very much. I hope you stay strong!

DeleteBecause I read this, I remembered when I was in junior high, I was in grade 7, and I'm very naughty. I didn't have problems with assignments or school work, but when I entered grade 10, I couldn't do what I had in grade 7. It's good to look back on memories; if there's time to go back, why not? But now we have to persevere. nag-reminiscing ako ron ah π
